Activities in Abundance

From our Terra-Beka Lodge hotel, you will be ideally located to set off to explore unspoiled nature in the nature reserves of Cornettes de Bise and Mont de Grange.

In summer, you can try out one of the many activities and experiences offered in Chablais in the enchanting setting of the Pays d'Evian Vallée d'Abondance region, a territory labeled UNESCO Global Geopark.

In winter, the Nordic area of La Chapelle d'Abondance, which extends over the plain of the village, offers 23 km of cross-country ski trails, dog sled rides, snowshoe circuits, a pedestrian route on snow, as well as a toboggan run.

Skiing, snowboarding on the Portes du Soleil and Crêt Beni

La Chapelle d'Abondance offers 35 km of slopes for skiers beginners, on the Crêt ski area Beni. Going down the slopes has never been so easy, thanks to our private driver who will be happy to drive you to the start of the slopes for free (5 min.).

For more experienced skiers, the Terra-Beka Lodge provides access, on skis, to the huge ski area of Portes du Soleil linking 12 Franco-Swiss resorts, some 194 ski lifts, 90 mountain restaurants and more than 600 km of slopes!

Walks and hikes

Explore the nature reserves of Mont de Grange and Cornettes de Bise, accessible on foot from our charming hotel. You will discover dazzling landscapes and observe mouflons, chamois and marmots. Rivers, lakes, green meadows and refreshing waterfalls draw the landscape of our Vallée d'Abondance which offers a multitude of hikes.

For a Franco-Swiss tour, ask for the Multipass at the reception. It will allow you to use all the Portes du Soleil chairlifts on foot and many other things, . ..

Swimming and white water sports

Meet on the Dranse river to practice canyoning, rafting, hydrospeed and many other experiences. 

Between aquatic centres, beaches and lakes, the Chablais has a range of possibilities for enjoying the water, even in the mountains!

A few kilometers from the Terra-Beka Lodge you will find the aquatic area Forme d'O< /a>. For your family outings, go to the Aquaparc in Le Bouveret. To relax, discover the shores of Lac de Vosne, lac des Plagnes, from lac de Montriond or from Lake Geneva.

Thrills

In summer, the Portes du Soleil ski area becomes the realm of mountain biking, with 600 km of trails signposted, 19 ski lifts equipped for the transport of mountain bikes, 50 downhill trails, 5 bike parks, ... The Terra-Beka Lodge has a secure bike room.

You can also practice tree climbing, summer tobogganing, paraglider and fly over the hamlet of Plaine-Dranse with the Fantastic, climb the Cornettes de Bise, probably the most beautiful Chablais climbing site

Land of Flavors

The Pays d'Evian - Vallée d'Abondance reveals a duality between lakes and mountains. Take advantage of your stay with us to taste Savoyard specialties, fish from Lake Geneva, charcuterie from our mountains and the very famous Abondance cheese. Farm visits with tastings are organized by local farmers.

The vines on the slopes of Lake Geneva produce the Savoie wines from the Chasselas grape variety, while those from the Rhône Valley, in Neighboring Switzerland, you will discover 31 white and 24 red grape varieties approved in the Valais AOC!
